Awful, slow, when we were not given the vehicle requested (not even SIMILIAR) we asked about different ones. We chose one but were not informed we would have to wait a bit until half an hour later being told we would have to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes. NO. we had to go and I mentioned it. Very rude. Did not want to be fast and was on her own time. Don't want to ever have to use this place again, but we have to so we can get back home. This was one of the worst Hertz locations. I know because I have had a good experience at other places. We were polite however until it just got stupid. Did not get her name but when I do I will be sure to say.
Will never book a rental with them EVER again! I called in a reservation for that evening and received the conformation email. On my way to the airport I received a call from a Hertz rep to inform me that they unfortunate didn't have a rental available for me and they were unable to even give me an estimate on how long it would be until I had a vehicle. From what I was told some of the cars weren't returned yet and the rest that apeared in their system needed maintenance done. It was late at night, I had my child with me, I had driven almost an hour and was now stuck at an airport for who knows how long. AND ON TOP OF THAT their rep spoke horrible english, couldn't spell my last name correct, even after phonetically spelling it out for her and didn't even return my call like she said or someone at Hertz would. Thank goodness for Avid who was the only rental company at that airport who had a car available that evening.
I honestly do not even feel thwy deserve 1 star!!
I Just arrived home from a wonderful Trip to Emerald Isle NC to see my Daughter and Grandchildren, The trip was wonderful withe exception of being in a rental car from Hertz that did not have functional AC in the 95+ degree Weather for a week. When I realized that the AC was not working I called and was told they did not have a Car availible to put me in and said they would call me back the following day. I recieved a return call 2 days later wanting me to Drive to Jcaksonville ( almost an hr each way) to ha e the AC charged. My family had mafe plans and at that piont we had that day and the next that we would be using the car beforw returning it today. WHEN i asked about a discount I was told it would be taken care and it was not!!! I will NEVER RECOMEND OR USE this company again EVER!!!!!!!!
Horrible first experience but it will definately be the last one with them. The only reason I used the was because of price but in the end you get what you pay for.
No my whole family is in a bad mood. Thank you hertz for ruining my time with family.
Ereca was great. Our rental contact was messed up and she fixed it all!
EDIT: finally got a vehicle "in slot number 12"we go over there....THERE WAS NO VEHICLE. We look around, because maybe we got the number wrong. Nope. Our vehicle was no where to be found. In so surprised (sarcasm)
Horrible customer service, wouldn't recommend doing business with them. If you do make sure you look over your vehicle, and review your paperwork.
